He is a Prophet & Teacher by calling who travels extensively around the world ministering the Word of God.
He is the host of Healing & Prophecy: an outreach in which he ministers healing for the total man through the prophetic word. He is the author of “Fulfilling Your Prophetic Destiny”, a book described by some as a “terse but dense volume” that connects people to the spirit of prophecy and helps them align to the mind of the spirit. Also, he is the Publisher of Word Alive, a quarterly teaching paper bringing God’s word to multitudes of people.

As led by the Lord, Joseph Akanya recently started the Acts 13 Network, a forum where Ministers of the Gospel fellowship and are instructed by the ways of the Lord for maximum fruitfulness in life and ministry.

The vision for the School of Prophecy was birthed in his heart a couple of years ago and it is for believers to learn how God speaks so that they can personally follow Him and make progress in life.
